Service Academies Military Ball
A formal Military Ball honoring Georgia's 500 Midshipmen and Cadets who attend the five United States Service Academies - US Naval Academy, US Military Academy at West Point, US Air Force Academy, US Coast Guard Academy, and the US Merchant Marine Academy is one way we pay tribute to Georgia's young men and women who have committed themselves to serve, protect, and defend our country. These young adults are not ordinary college students. They are enrolled in a rigorours four-year college program, and when they graduate, they will be commissioned as officers in our nation's Armed Forces. Many will see immediate action in global operations.
